A few examples of our work -
A group of researchers with a grant subtitled “Linking Narrative-based Research to Understand the Changing Heartland” needed assistance developing a methodology to unite their interdisciplinary teams. I led four sessions to help them discern overlapping interests, audiences, and frameworks for their projects.
A teacher at Preucil Preschool wanted her young students to know the value of their life stories. For half a year, I worked with students to tell “true life” stories about what they saw from the backseats of cars, the sadness over lost toys and excitement for new friends, and the happiness of rolling down hills.
An independent cinema sought to collect and share stories of what the organization has meant to the community during its first ten years. I gathered stories through interviews and crafted a social media campaign. The generated material provides the organization with language for future development campaigns and helps preserve its history.
